Refund & Cancellation Policy
We are a small, service-based wellness business. When services, memberships, or packages are purchased, time and space are reserved specifically for you. As such, refunds for services are handled differently than refunds for physical retail products.
Please carefully review the policy below before purchasing.
I. Services, Appointments, Memberships & Packages
All services, memberships, packages, and prepaid appointments are non-refundable once purchased.
This includes, such as but not limited to:
Salt Cave / Halotherapy sessions
Light therapy sessions
Packages and memberships
Prepaid appointments
Any service or event directly offered by Berea Salt Cave & Arts
Services that are reserved and prepaid for major holidays and especially promoted services / events, (including but not limited to Valentine’s Day, Christmas, Mother’s Day, and New Year’s, couples sessions, celebration packages, photo sessions, etc.) are non-refundable.
While we are not obligated to issue refunds for services, memberships, or packages, we aim to be supportive in circumstances that are genuinely beyond our customers’ control, as outlined below.
II. Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that unforeseen life events can occur. In rare cases, full refunds may be considered, though store credit is the default resolution.
Circumstances that may be considered include:
Serious illness or sudden injury
Passing of an immediate family member
Inclement or hazardous weather conditions
Documentation may be requested in some circumstances.
III. Missed Appointments, Late Cancellations & Prepaid Services
Missed appointments, *late cancellations (less than 48 hrs prior), or failure to attend prepaid services or events are generally non-refundable.
If a *late cancellation or missed appointment is due to a sudden serious illness, injury, or end-of-life event, a full refund may be considered. A restocking or administrative fee may apply.
If the cancellation is due to scheduling conflicts, inclement weather or other non-emergency reasons, a store credit may be considered.
IV. Refund Processing & Administrative Considerations
When refunds are approved:
A restocking or administrative fee may apply
Processing fees and schedule disruption costs are factored in, particularly for promotional services or holiday events.
Refunds are granted at the discretion of the business, in accordance with applicable state laws and the posted refund policy.
V. Retail / Physical Products
Unused physical products may be returned within 30 days of purchase, provided that:
The item is unused and in original condition
All packaging and components are included
Proof of purchase is provided
Certain items are non-returnable, including:
Personal care products
Perishable items
Sale items
Gift cards
VI. Refund Processing Timeline (Physical Products Only)
Approved refunds for physical retail products will be issued and processed as such
Refunds are processed back to the original form of payment.
If the original payment method was a credit or debit card, please allow up to 10 business days after processing for the refund to appear, depending on your financial institution.
Processing times may vary based on your bank or card issuer.
VII. Gift Cards & Coupons
Gift cards are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.
Coupons:
Are not redeemable for cash,
Cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.
VIII. Exchanges
Exchanges may be offered for eligible retail items.
Services, memberships, and packages are not eligible for exchange, except when converted to store credit at the discretion of the business.
European Union Customers
If physical merchandise is shipped into the European Union, customers may be entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period in accordance with EU consumer protection laws. This applies only to physical merchandise, not services.
